In 2014, three intrepid Australian men rode across their continent to raise funds for HCLS, and from that effort HCLS was able to purchase a mini-bus, complete the boy’s dorm at the secondary school, sink a water bore, and start the construction of our most ambitious project yet.
The multi-purpose building started as a single story kitchen / dining facility but we realised that foundations are expensive and if we went up a story we could add a library area, offices for teachers, and study areas. Progress has been slow but steady, with windows being installed late in 2016.
