A daily challenge is provision of nutritious food to our nursery and HIV positive children, as well as the kids living at the secondary school in our residential program. Protein is mainly provided through local kidney beans and occasionally goat or chicken. The secondary school is surrounded by gardens that are tended by the students, and a small herd of goats is growing slowly to provide meat. You can help in this endeavour through the Gift of Hope program, allowing us to build the goat herd, buy and plant good quality vegetable seeds and seedlings, and meet the daily needs of the children at HCLS.
