One of our biggest challenges from a financial perspective is finding the means to ensure we have solid, good quality, fit-for-purpose buildings and infrastructure from which to deliver the many important education and health programs delivered by HCLS.
Right now we are seeking funds to complete our multi-purpose building, build a bridge to our secondary school that will withstand floods, and start developing community health clinics at our primary and secondary school locations, which are located in the poorest neighbourhood in Bunia and a poor rural village respectively. As the poster behind one of our primary students says below “Every child has a right to health”.
